Convicted Creep Arrested on Warrant After Causing Neighborhood Disturbance

On Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 12:45 am, Turlock Police responded to a suspicious person at a residence in the 2000 block of Chakkar Estates Dr.

Per several callers, a man was knocking on doors, asking for help and claiming he was being chased, but there was no one there.

A few minutes later, Officer Gursky located and contacted Hector Cardenas, 24, of Turlock, in the 900 block of Lazarine Ct.

Cardenas was on probation for disorderly conduct and had a $25,000 misdemeanor bench warrant out of the Turlock Police Department for the same.

The specific disorderly conduct subdivision Cardenas was on probation for involved secretly photographing or recording someone under their clothing without their consent, intending to sexually arouse themselves or invade that person’s privacy.

Cardenas was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for his warrant.

Online records located by Turlock Area News indicate Cardenas lives nearby in the 800 block of Ashton Ct; however, his crime does not require him to register as a sex offender.
