On Friday, May 27th, 2022, at 3:26 am, the Turlock Police Department and Stanislaus State Police Department were dispatched to a commercial alarm at Turlock Junior High School, 3951 N Walnut Rd, Turlock, covering the office north door. While officers were responding, they were notified that a keyholder was responding with an estimated time of arrival of five minutes. Four injured after two vehicles crash into two layers of fencing of a residence Wednesday night

On Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, at 10:50 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries in the 400 block of West Ave S, Turlock. When crews arrived on scene, they found two vehicles involved which had crashed into two layers of fencing of a residence. One was a silver Ford sedan while the other was a black Nissan pickup truck. Traffic stop leads to two warrant arrests early Thursday morning

On Thursday, May 26th, 2022, at 2:07 am, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of Almond Ave and Souza St, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it. The officer made contact with the vehicle’s three occupants and identified them, which included the driver and his two passengers, Richard Barrera, 28 of Delhi, and Brandon Huggins, 30, of Turlock. The officer then had his dispatcher run all three subjects. Two overdose victims saved ten minutes apart Wednesday night

On Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, at 10:29 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a medical aid at Swanson-Centennial Park, 2101 Pinto Way, Turlock, for a subject overdosing on fentanyl at the picnic tables of the park. Police were the first to arrive and they found the patient unconscious. Man arrested for child pornography after cyber tip investigated Wednesday morning

On Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, at 10:00 am, Turlock Police detectives arrested Timothy Ryan Burnham, 44, of Turlock, at his home in the 2400 block of Mountain Springs Dr, Turlock. Detectives were following up on a cyber tip they had received in February from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip was investigated by high tech crimes detectives and required a search warrant to obtain data and information as to who was using the account suspected of receiving and sending child pornography. Freeway shoulder grass fire extends to exterior of commercial structure Monday afternoon

On Monday, May 23rd, 2022, at 3:22 pm, the Turlock Fire Department, Modesto Fire Department, and Turlock Rural Fire Protection District were dispatched to a reported vegetation fire southbound State Route 99 just south of W Main St, Turlock. When crews arrived on scene, they found a grass fire on the southbound shoulder that had spread to the exterior of a commercial structure at 818 S Walnut Rd. On Friday, May 20th, 2022, at 1:26 pm, the California Highway Patrol, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries southbound State Route 99 just south of Lander Ave, Turlock. On Saturday, May 21st, 2022, at 6:11 am, the Turlock Police Department and Stanislaus State Police Department were dispatched to a reported sex offense that had just occurred at Park Knolls Apartments, 1100 Pedras Rd, Turlock. Officers arrived in the area and made contact with the victim who was waiting for officers across the street. She told officers that she had met with two subjects earlier, one of which was Marc Anthony Hughes, 22, of Turlock. Eventually, all three of them made their way to her apartment. On Monday, May 23rd, 2022, at 7:26 am, the Turlock Fire Department, Modesto Fire Department, American Medical Response, and Turlock Police Department were dispatched to a reported residential working structure fire in the 200 block of Davis St, Turlock. When crews arrived on scene, they found a single story single family dwelling with a fire that had started in its kitchen and had extended into its living quarters and attic.
