Woman arrested on two misdemeanor warrants during suspicious person contact Wednesday morning

On Wednesday, September 28th, 2022, at 7:23 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported suspicious person in the 100 block of N Laurel St, Turlock. When officers arrived on scene, they found and made contact with two subjects, including Cynthia Pritchard, 54, of Turlock. When the officers had their dispatcher run the two, Pritchard returned with two local $25,555 misdemeanor bench warrants, the first one being for possession of methamphetamines and the second one being for violation of a provision of law proscribing theft, embezzlement, forgery, fraud, or identity theft by a person other than a caretaker

Man with warrant for shoplifting arrested during traffic stop early Wednesday morning

On Wednesday, September 28th, 2022, at 12:28 am, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of N Golden State Blvd and Geer Rd, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it. The officer made contact with the vehicle’s two occupants, including passenger Adrian Romero, 24, of Turlock. When the officer had his dispatcher run the two, Romero returned with a misdemeanor $3,000 bench warrant for shoplifting. Romero was arrested and released on a citation on his warrant.

Woman with six warrants arrested during suspicious person contact after giving officer fake name Tuesday night

On Tuesday, September 27th, 2022, at 10:27 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of West Ave N and Flower St, Turlock, observed and made contact with a suspicious person. The officer asked the woman, later identified as Ashanda Lee, 43, of Ceres, to identify herself, however, she did not want to be truthful and gave a fake name. Man arrested for meth possession during traffic stop early Tuesday morning

On Tuesday, September 27th, 2022, at 4:23 am, a Turlock Police officer near the 100 block of Radio St, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it. The officer made contact with the vehicle’s driver and identified him as Augustine Gallardo, 30, of Turlock. When the officer had his dispatcher run Gallardo, he returned to be on searchable probation for contempt of court and domestic battery. On Saturday, September 24th, 2022, at 6:59 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported residential burglary at a residence in the 2300 block of Zinfandel Ln, Turlock. A report was taken after a woman had reported that someone had broken into her home and taken her belongings while no one was there. The following day, the victim and her husband met with a neighbor, Alias Diaz, 21, of Turlock, to discuss the break in. While at Diaz’s home, the victim and her husband noticed their stolen property. On Friday, September 23rd, 2022, at 9:37 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of W Monte Vista Ave and N Golden State Blvd, Turlock, observed a vehicle doing burnouts, so he made a traffic stop on it. The officer made contact with the vehicle’s driver, later identified as Mark Ramirez, 21, of Modesto, and attempted to remove him from his vehicle, however, he resisted. Ramirez was eventually removed from his vehicle, however, it was left in gear which caused it to proceed forward and collide with a patrol vehicle, causing damage. Parolee arrested after being caught driving stolen vehicle Friday morning

On Friday, September 23rd, 2022, at 7:21 am, a Turlock Police officer near Ken’s Big Bear Car Wash, 1075 N Golden State Blvd, Turlock, observed a vehicle traveling southbound on N Golden State Blvd which he recognized as one that had been reported stolen the previous day, so he made a traffic stop on it. The vehicle’s driver, later identified as Thomas Rodrigues, 38, of Turlock, pulled the vehicle into Ken’s Big Bear Car Wash and immediately exited. Bicyclist injured in hit and run by motorcyclist Thursday evening

On Thursday, September 22nd, 2022, at 7:07 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Seventh St and W F St, Turlock. When crews arrived on scene, they found a downed bicyclist. Witnesses reported that a motorcyclist had struck him and fled the area. Although the bicyclist was down, he was alert and conscious when contacted. He was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital with an unknown extent of injuries. On Monday, September 26th, 2022, at 6:13 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Hedstrom Rd and James Ln, Turlock. When crews arrived on scene, they found two vehicles involved. The first one was a white Ford hatchback and the second one was a gray GMC SUV.
