On Monday, August 11, 2025, at 12:32 am, Turlock Police Officer Arroyo got out with an occupied suspicious vehicle on N Tegner Rd near Atherstone Rd.
Officer Arroyo made contact with and identified the vehicle’s two occupants, including passenger Anna Juarez, 47, of Turlock. When Officer Arroyo had her dispatcher run Juarez, she discovered she had a $25,550 misdemeanor bench warrant out of the Turlock Police Department for trespassing.
Minutes later, Stanislaus State Police Officer Lewis got out with a suspicious person at the Vasche Library.
Officer Lewis made contact with Jose Chavez, 29, of Turlock, who was reluctant to identify himself. After some investigation, Chavez turned out to have a $200 infraction bench warrant out of the Turlock Police Department for unlawful camping.
Juarez and Chavez were arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on their warrants.
