Officer Makes Weapon Warrant Arrest After Recognizing Transient

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 1:58 am, Turlock Police Officer Aziz put himself on a warrant arrest at CVS in the 1600 block of Lander Ave.

Officer Aziz had noticed and recognized Daniel Lunn, 30, of Hilmar, walking through the parking lot, and knew him to have warrants. Sure enough, Lunn was confirmed to have four misdemeanor bench warrants out of the Turlock Police Department for narcotic and weapon charges.

Lunn was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for his warrants.
