On Monday, September 1, 2025, at 2:47 am, Turlock Police responded to a suspicious vehicle at Broadway Park in the 500 block of N Broadway.
When officers arrived on scene, they located Raymundo Martinez, 28, sitting in a vehicle with expired registration, right under a sign prohibiting overnight parking.
Officer Aziz contacted Martinez, who provided a false name and date of birth. Martinez also made inconsistent statements about his age, stating that he had forgotten his own date of birth and had no identifying documents with him.
Subsequently, Martinez was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, a meth pipe, and an unlawful amount of marijuana.
Martinez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for possession of methamphetamine, possession of more than 28.5 grams of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Additionally, once Martinez’s true identity was discovered, he ended up having a no-bail felony warrant for inflicting corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant.
