On Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 8:21 pm, Turlock Police responded to an aggravated assault at Emanuel Medical Center in the 800 block of Delbon Ave.
The Merced County Sheriff’s Office had received a call from a woman, reporting that she was driving to Emanuel with the victim. The call ultimately failed and dropped during the transfer to Turlock Police.
A short time later, three people arrived at Emanuel, including Keith McGinty, 19, of Livingston. McGinty had a stab wound, which he was treated for at the hospital.
Through the investigation, the incident was determined to be gang-related and had occurred in the 2000 block of Alameda Ct in Livingston. Livingston Police responded to Emanuel to take a report.
Ultimately, McGinty was determined to have a $50,000 felony Ramey warrant out of the Livingston Police Department for threatening to commit a crime which will result in death or great bodily injury, but, for an unknown reason, Livingston Police didn’t want to arrest on their own warrant. Therefore, Turlock Police made the arrest.
McGinty was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
