Shots fired in northeast Turlock neighborhood Monday night
On Monday, September 6th, 2021, at 8:29 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported weapons offense that had just occurred at a residence in the 4600 block of Destiny Dr, Turlock. Dispatch had received a call reporting that there had been a drive-by shooting next to the residence.
When officers arrived on scene, they found multiple shell casings at and just east of the intersection of Inspiration Way and Destiny Dr. The shell casings were inspected, photographed, and taken to be used as evidence.
Officers spoke to witnesses who stated that they did not actually see the shooting and only heard it, but that they saw a silver Cadillac SUV speeding away southbound on Visions Dr from Inspiration Way just after they heard the shots.
