Vehicles catches fire while being worked on Sunday afternoon
On Sunday, September 12th, 2021, at 1:01 pm, the Turlock Fire Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire at Walmart, 2111 Fulkerth Rd, Turlock.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they located a silver Toyota sedan with its passenger compartment fully involved. Firefighters were able to quickly put the fire out without it spreading anywhere.
The owner of the vehicle stated that he was doing mechanical work on it, when for an unknown reason, it caught fire.
The vehicle’s interior was completely burned and the vehicle had to be towed away from the scene.
