Firefighters find stovetop fire in residence after responding to fire alarm Thursday night
On Thursday, October 28th, 2021, at 8:28 pm, the Turlock Fire Department was dispatched to a residential fire alarm at a residence in the 600 block of Corello St, Turlock.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they smelt smoke coming from inside the residence. They made entry into the residence where they found a small fire contained to the stovetop in the kitchen. Firefighters were able to quickly put the fire out and prevent it from spreading.
Firefighters remained on scene and conducted smoke removal until the homeowners could arrive back at the scene so the residence could be released back to them.
