Man wanted for resisting with violence arrested during traffic stop Thursday night

On Thursday, February 10th, 2022, at 11:26 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of West Ave S and Vermont Ave, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.

The officer made contact with the vehicle’s driver and identified him as Luis Virgen, 40, of Turlock.

When the officer ran a wants and warrants check on Virgen, he discovered that he had two warrants, one of which was for resisting an executive officer with violence, a felony.

Virgen was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
