Woman arrested for felony weapon offense during traffic stop early Friday morning
On Friday, March 4th, 2022, at 12:20 am, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of W Hawkeye Ave and Dels Ln, Turlock, observed a driver violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on her.
The officer made contact with the driver, identified as Courtney Haney, 23, of Modesto, and her passenger, identified as Miguel Ochoa, 50, of Delhi.
When the officer ran a wants and warrants checks on both subjects, he discovered that they each had their own warrants. Haney had a felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance while armed with a firearm and Ochoa had a misdemeanor warrant for possession of methamphetamines.
Both subjects were arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on their warrants.
