Person injured after colliding into tree Saturday night

On Saturday, March 26th, 2022, at 9:15 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries in the 1400 block of E Canal Dr, Turlock.

When crews arrived on scene, they found a single vehicle involved, a white Acura sedan, which had collided into a tree.

The vehicle had a single occupant, who was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. Once they were freed, they were ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

The white Acura sedan sustained major damage and was deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring it to be towed away.

It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
