Transient lights shopping cart on fire Sunday night
On Sunday, July 24th, 2022, at 11:57 pm, the Turlock Fire Department was dispatched to a reported fire at El Pollo Loco, 2900 Countryside Dr, Turlock.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they found a shopping cart and some other debris on fire in the roadway in front of the bus stop next to the business.
The fire was quickly put out and prevented from spreading.
Witnesses reported that a transient had intentionally lit the fire, however, he was never located.
No injuries were reported.
