Man arrested on two felony warrants after officer spots suspicious vehicle parked near broken fence to new residential development early Monday morning

On Monday, August 29th, 2022, at 2:34 am, a Turlock Police officer near One Church, 200 North Ave, Turlock, noticed a suspicious vehicle parked near a broken fence which leads to the new residential development just south of the church, so he got out with it.

When the officer looked into the vehicle, he noticed a bunch of tools in it.

Additional officers arrived on scene and began searching the development, eventually finding and making contact with Nelson Brandao, 43, of Salinas.

When officers had their dispatcher run Brandao, he returned with two felony $100,500 warrants. One was a local one for elder or dependent adult abuse or endangerment under circumstances likely to produce great bodily harm or death, while the other one was out of Modesto for carrying a concealed dirk or dagger.

Brandao was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
