Man arrested after robbing girlfriend’s friend of keys Monday afternoon

On Monday, September 5th, 2022, at 2:27 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported disturbance in progress at a residence in the 700 block of High St, Turlock.

When officers arrived on scene, they learned that the suspect, Rodolfo Peral, 34, of Turlock, had forcefully taken the victim’s keys from her and had refused to give them back. Peral was the victim’s friend’s boyfriend.

When officers had their dispatcher run Peral, he was discovered to have two warrants, a felony $25,000 one for driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 or greater causing injury, as well as a misdemeanor $1,500 one for driving with a suspended driver’s license.

Peral was arrested and began resisting, so he had to be placed into a “The WRAP” restraint device for his ride up north.

Peral was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of robbery as well as his two warrants.
