Traffic stop leads to arrest of three, including one for drug sales charge Sunday night

On Sunday, September 11th, 2022, at 9:50 pm, a Turlock Police officer near Panera Bread, 3050 Hotel Dr, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.

The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s driver, Elias Hernandez, 45, of Salida, and his two passengers, Jada Dunham, 23, of Palmdale, and Cherise Clark, 35, of Valley Village.

The officer had his dispatcher run all three subjects and Hernandez returned to be on searchable probation with a suspended driver’s license.

A probation search of Hernandez’s vehicle was conducted which led to the discovery of methamphetamines for sale and drug paraphernalia.

All three subjects were arrested, Hernandez was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of methamphetamines for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended driver’s license, while Dunham and Clark were released on citations on unknown charges.
