Man with felony warrant out of Alameda County arrested during traffic stop Saturday night

On Saturday, November 5th, 2022, at 8:54 pm, a Stanislaus State Police officer near the intersection of Crowell Rd and W Christoffersen Pkwy, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.

The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s driver as Jaime Valdez, 28, of Modesto.

When the officer had his dispatcher run Valdez, he returned with a no bail felony bench warrant out of Alameda County for flight from a peace officer with disregard to public safety and carrying a concealed dirk or dagger.

Valdez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
