Man arrested on narcotics sales warrant during traffic stop Saturday night

On Saturday, November 12th, 2022, at 11:29 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of Farr St and Columbia St, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.

The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s driver as Eric Dial, 40, of Waterford.

When the officer had his dispatcher run Dial, he returned with a $100,000 felony bench warrant out of Modesto for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, transporting or selling a controlled substance, driving with a suspended driver’s license, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dial was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
