Woman arrested after burglarizing occupied home’s garage early Sunday morning

On Sunday, November 13th, 2022, at 4:45 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported residential burglary in progress at a residence in the 1700 block of Fulkerth Rd, Turlock.

When officers arrived on scene, they located the suspect, later identified as Eboni Wilson, 42, of Turlock, walking away from the residence while the victims were following her. Wilson was detained for further investigation.

Officers began speaking with the two victims, a boyfriend and a girlfriend, and the girlfriend stated that she had received a text message from her neighbor telling her that someone was inside her garage. The boyfriend exited the residence and saw Wilson simultaneously leaving their garage, carrying a variety of their belongings. The boyfriend told Wilson to stop but she refused, so the couple began following her. That’s when officers arrived and located Wilson.

Wilson was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of burglary.
