Gas station robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night

On Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022, at 11:49 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported armed robbery at Chevron ExtraMile, 100 E Glenwood Ave, Turlock.

Officers arrived on scene and contacted the victim who reported to them that a man had entered the business at about 11:03 pm and pulled a handgun from his waistband. The man then threatened the clerk with the gun. The clerk, in fear of being hurt or shot, provided money to the man before he fled to the carwash next door where a green or blue GMC Jimmy had been seen parked earlier.

The man was described to be Hispanic and in his early 20s with black hair in a ponytail and a short mustache.
