Person arrested on felony elder abuse warrant Monday night
On Monday, January 9th, 2023, at 9:29 pm, a Turlock Police officer near O’Reilly Auto Parts, 1601 Lander Ave, Turlock, observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot, so he got out with it.
The officer made contact with two subjects associated with the vehicle, including Tommie Smith, 39, of Modesto.
When the officer had his dispatcher run the two, he discovered that Smith had a no-bail felony bench warrant out of Stanislaus County for abusing or endangering an elder or dependent adult under circumstances likely to produce great bodily harm or death.
Smith was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on their warrant.
