Bicyclist arrested on two misdemeanor warrants Wednesday night

On Wednesday, February 8th, 2023, at 10:26 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of North Ave and Geer Rd, Turlock, observed a bicyclist riding without proper lighting equipment, so he made a bicycle stop on him.

The officer made contact with and identified the bicyclist as Cristian Valdovinos, 32, of Turlock.

When the officer had his dispatcher run Valdovinos, he discovered that he had two local misdemeanor bench warrants. The first one was a $15,500 one for trespassing, while the second one was a $35,550 one for driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or greater.

Valdovinos was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
