Man with warrant for robbery arrested during traffic stop Friday night

On Friday, March 3rd, 2023, at 11:09 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of W Linwood Ave and W Glenwood Ave, Turlock, observed a driver violating the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on him.

The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s driver as Edward Alderson, 26, of Modesto.

When the officer had his dispatcher run Alderson, he discovered that he had a $50,000 felony Ramey warrant out of Stanislaus County for robbery.

Alderson was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
