Bicyclist injured after being struck by vehicle Thursday evening
On Thursday, March 16th, 2023, at 6:42 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of Dels Ln and W Hawkeye Ave, Turlock, came upon a vehicle collision with injuries.
Additional officers were dispatched, as well as the Turlock Fire Department and American Medical Response.
Two vehicles were involved, a gray 2019 Nissan Rogue and a bicycle.
The driver of the gray Rogue didn’t suffer any injuries, while the bicyclist suffered moderate injuries. The bicyclist was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital.
The gray Rogue sustained minor damage and was able to be driven away from the scene, while the bicycle sustained moderate damage.
It’s currently unknown how the collision occurred.
