On Friday, September 12, 2025, at 11:00 pm, Turlock Fire, Modesto Fire, Stanislaus Regional Fire Investigation Unit, Turlock Police, and American Medical Response responded to a working structure fire at a residence in the 1100 block of Bethany Ave.
The caller reported an attic fire and thought her husband was in the attic, but he wasn’t responding to her while she was yelling for him. Dispatch then advised the caller to leave the residence, at which point she located her husband safe outside.

The Turlock Irrigation District and Pacific Gas and Electric Company responded to the scene to secure utilities, while Modesto Fire provided city coverage during the incident.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
No one was injured.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information that could assist is encouraged to call the Stanislaus Regional Fire Investigation Unit at 209-525-5537.
