On Monday, September 15, 2025, at 1:42 am, Turlock Police Officer McCrae made a traffic stop at Lander Ave and E Glenwood Ave.
Officer McCrae made contact with and identified the vehicle’s driver as Michael Oliveira, 32, of Turlock.
Oliveira was obviously under the influence of narcotics, as exhibited by his rapid movements and speech, which existed the entire duration of the stop. As a result, Officer McCrae removed Oliveira from his vehicle and put him through standardized field sobriety tests, which he performed poorly on.
Officer McCrae arrested Oliveira, issued him a driver’s license suspension order, and transported him to Doctors Medical Center to provide a blood sample.
Afterward, Oliveira was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for driving under the influence of a drug.
Additionally, Oliveira’s vehicle was towed.
It should be noted that Oliveira currently has another DUI case open, with a diversion completion hearing scheduled for April 9, 2026, before the Honorable Judge Mumford. It’s unclear if that case also involved drugs or was just alcohol.
