On Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10:07 pm, Turlock Police responded to a suspicious person in the 700 block of Sherri Way.
The caller reported someone appearing to be on narcotics in the area, staring at her. Officers checked the area and were initially unable to locate the man.
A short time later, a second caller from the 2700 block of Colorado Ave reported the same man was staring at his family in his front yard.
Officer Gallup arrived on scene and attempted to contact Eduardo Carbajal, 38, of Turlock, who refused to stop for him. Ultimately, Carbajal was detained in handcuffs but refused to identify himself.
Carbajal was arrested and transported to the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center, where he was ultimately identified. Carbajal turned out to have a no-bail felony warrant out of the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office for auto theft, receiving stolen property, possession of burglary tools, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Carbajal was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for resisting a peace officer and his warrant.
