Man causes three vehicle collision, victim arrested for warrants Wednesday evening
On Wednesday, September 15th, 2021, at 6:30 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Fulkerth Rd and N Tully Rd, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they located three vehicles involved. One was a gray Chevrolet sedan, one was a silver Nissan sedan, and the other was a gray Subaru SUV.
The gray Chevrolet sedan’s driver, who was its only occupant, suffered minor injuries and refused to be transported. The silver Nissan sedan’s driver and passenger, and the gray Subaru SUV’s driver, who was its only occupant, were all uninjured.
All three vehicles sustained minor injuries and were able to be driven away from the scene.
Officers began investigating and determined that the silver Nissan sedan and the gray Subaru SUV were both stopped at the red light westbound on Fulkerth Rd at N Tully Rd, with the gray Subaru SUV being in the front and the silver Nissan sedan being in the back, when the gray Chevrolet sedan that was also westbound approached the intersection, rear-ended the silver Nissan sedan, and pushed it into the rear of the gray Subaru SUV.
When officers conducted a warrants check on the driver of the silver Nissan sedan, Angelica Perez, 38, of Turlock, she came back with two misdemeanor no-bail warrants out of the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office for violating the terms of her release on their Alternate Work Program.
Perez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on her two warrants.
