Woman injured after vehicle rolls off of freeway Tuesday evening
On Tuesday, October 5th, 2021, at 7:54 pm, the California Highway Patrol, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries on northbound State Route 99 just south of W Taylor Rd, Turlock.
Crews located a single vehicle involved upon their arrival, a silver Chevrolet sedan. It was laying on its side at the bottom of an embankment just east of the freeway.
The vehicle’s only occupant, its driver, suffered minor injuries and was ground transported to a local hospital by American Medical Response after firefighters assisted with getting her out of the vehicle.
The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring it to be towed away.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
