Motorcyclist injured after being struck by vehicle during rush hour traffic Monday evening

On Monday, November 29th, 2021, at 5:20 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Lander Ave and Bernell Ave, Turlock.

When crews arrived on scene, they located two vehicles involved. One was a blue Chevrolet sedan and the other was a black motorcycle.

The blue Chevrolet sedan had two occupants, both of which were uninjured. The motorcyclist suffered moderate injuries and was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring them to be towed away.

It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
