Stranded motorist arrested for child pornography warrant early Wednesday morning
On Wednesday, April 6th, 2022, at 1:09 am, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of Lander Ave and W Main St, Turlock, spotted a disabled vehicle blocking a lane of southbound Lander Ave just south of W Main St, so he got out with it to help.
The officer felt that the vehicle’s driver, identified as Caleb Thacker, 40, of Turlock, was suspicious, so he had his dispatcher run his information. Thacker returned with a felony warrant for child pornography related charges.
A search of Thacker’s vehicle incident to arrest also led to the discovery of narcotics.
Thacker was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of a controlled substance and his warrant.
