Traffic stop results in arrest of passenger for auto theft warrant Friday night

On Friday, July 29th, 2022, at 11:31 pm, a Turlock Police officer near Motel 6, 250 S Walnut Rd, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.

The officer made contact with the vehicle’s driver and her passenger, identifying him as Emanuel Ribeiro, 43, of Hayward.

The officer had his dispatcher run both subjects and Ribeiro returned with a felony warrant for auto theft.

Ribeiro was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
