Pedestrian injured after being struck by vehicle Thursday morning
On Thursday, January 19th, 2023, at 7:48 am, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Geer Rd and Regis St, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they found a single vehicle involved, a red 2016 Hyundai Tucson, which had struck a pedestrian that was down in the roadway.
The driver of the vehicle did not suffer any injuries, while the pedestrian suffered moderate injuries and was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital.
It’s currently unknown how the collision occurred, however, one of the callers mentioned that the pedestrian was in the crosswalk when they were struck.
