On Wednesday, January 18th, 2023, at 2:56 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported juvenile molest that had just occurred at Sunrise Inn, 1350 N Golden State Blvd, Turlock, after a man had exited his room to hug and kiss a five-year-old girl on the mouth and forehead who was outside playing with her two older brothers.
When officers arrived on scene, they found and made contact with the suspect, who was later identified as Eduardo Hernandez, 86, of Crows Landing.
It’s currently unknown what the investigation revealed, however, when officers had their dispatcher run Hernandez, they discovered that he was a sex offender who had been convicted of committing a lewd or lascivious act with a child under the age of 14 years back in 2013.
Hernandez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of annoying or molesting a child.

Prayers for the little girl and all children who are abused. Parents, please watch your children closely and teach them that strangers should never touch them, certain acts should never be done, certain body parts should never be touched! It can happen so fast and ruin a child’s life.
Doesn’t seem like there is enough supervision for convicted sex offenders. When someone is raped someone or molested a child if and I mean if they ever get out of prison we should be watched and have an ankle monitor
