On Tuesday, January 31st, 2023, at 5:16 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of Grant Ave and Chestnut St, Turlock, recognized and got out with a man who he believed had a felony warrant.
The officer had his dispatcher run the man, Derek Gaspar, 33, of Turlock, and it was confirmed that he had a no-bail local felony bench warrant for possession of ammunition by a prohibited person.
Gaspar was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
