Man arrested on warrants after setting up camp behind home Tuesday afternoon
On Tuesday, January 31st, 2023, at 3:46 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported city ordinance violation at a residence in the 1300 block of N Golden State Blvd, Turlock, after two transients had begun to set up camp behind the home.
Officers arrived on scene and contacted the two, including Ryan Stocker, 42, of Turlock.
When officers had their dispatcher run the two, they discovered that Stocker had two local bench warrants. The first one was a no-bail felony one for possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, and the second one was a $5,000 misdemeanor one for possession of methamphetamines.
Stocker was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
