Man arrested after being found with stolen property during suspicious person contact early Friday morning
On Friday, March 3rd, 2023, at 1:45 am, a Stanislaus State Police officer near the intersection of Rochelle Ave and Danny Ave, Turlock, noticed and got out with a suspicious person.
The officer’s investigation led him to believe that the man, whose identity we currently don’t know, was in possession of property that had been taken in a vehicle burglary that had occurred a short time prior in the 2000 block of Dels Ln. The officer made contact with the vehicle’s owner and confirmed his suspicions.
The man was arrested and released on a citation on charges of buying or receiving stolen property and possession of methamphetamines.
