Man with grand theft warrant arrested and found to have narcotics Friday night

On Friday, March 10th, 2023, at 10:43 pm, a Turlock Police officer near a residence in the 200 block of W Minnesota Ave, Turlock, observed a driver violating the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on him.

The officer made contact with and identified the driver as Antonio Ramos, 28, of Montana.

When the officer had his dispatcher run Ramos, he discovered that he had a $10,000 felony Ramey warrant for grand theft and forgery.

Ramos was arrested and a search of his vehicle was conducted incident to arrest. During the search, the officer came across narcotics.

Ramos was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of methamphetamines and possession of a controlled substance, as well as his warrant.
