Parolee arrested while under the influence Friday night
On Friday, March 10th, 2023, at 9:38 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported suspicious person at QuikStop, 1260 Geer Rd, Turlock.
When officers arrived on scene, they found and made contact with Spencer Silva, 28, of Turlock, who they knew to be on parole for assault by a deadly weapon other than a firearm.
Silva was obviously under the influence of narcotics, so he was arrested.
Officers then called Silva’s parole agent and reported to him what had occurred. The agent found that there was probable cause a violation of parole had occurred, so he authorized that Silva be placed on a hold while awaiting a parole revocation hearing.
Silva was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of using or being under the influence of a controlled substance and violation of parole.
