Man arrested on two warrants during traffic stop Tuesday night

On Tuesday, April 11th, 2023, at 8:58 pm, Turlock Police investigators near Ken’s Big Bear Car Wash, 1075 N Golden State Blvd, Turlock, observed a driver violate the California Vehicle Code, so they made a traffic stop on her.

The investigators made contact with and identified the vehicle’s two occupants, including passenger John Garcia, 33, of Turlock.

When the investigators had their dispatcher run Garcia, they discovered that he had two local bench warrants. The first one was a $50,550 felony one for possession of a leaded cane, while the second one was a $25,550 misdemeanor one for possession of methamphetamines.

Garcia was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
