Parolee arrested on warrant and violation after being recognized by officer Wednesday morning
On Wednesday, May 24th, 2023, at 11:45 am, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of W Tuolumne Rd and Georgia Way, Turlock, noticed a man who he recognized, so he had his dispatcher run him.
The man, Nicolas Martinez, 30, of Turlock, was discovered to have a $25,550 local misdemeanor bench warrant for possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamines, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, so he was contacted.
Martinez was arrested and then found to be in violation of parole.
Martinez was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of violation of parole, as well as his warrant.
