Parolee arrested on narcotics charge during bicycle stop Monday night
On Monday, November 21st, 2022, at 9:53 pm, a Turlock Police sergeant near the intersection of E Canal Dr and N Denair Ave, Turlock, observed a bicycle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.
The sergeant made contact with and identified the bicyclist as Steven Black, 44, of Turlock.
When the sergeant had his dispatcher run Black, he returned to be on parole for making criminal threats.
A subsequent parole search of Black’s person led to the discovery of narcotics.
Black was arrested and released on a citation on charges of possession of a controlled substance.
